Trump golf site hit by £50,000 ‘sabotage’
Tripping Up Trump have been informed about the alleged damage caused on the dunes at Menie. We would like to clarify categorically that TUT have not been involved or aware of this claimed incident. TUT popularity has grown due its law abiding campaigning and this is the way we will carry on protecting the residents under threat from Compulsory Purchase.
Tripping Up Trump was formed in large part to specifically campaign against vandalism - the vandalism of an important and irreplaceable sight of special scientific interest -sanctioned by Aberdeenshire Council and the Scottish Government.
Vandals have carried out a £50,000 wrecking spree at Donald Trump’s golf resort near Aberdeen, the Evening Express can reveal today.
But Mr Trump’s team today insisted the attacks would not prevent them from creating a world-class facility at Balmedie.
Today Trump International Scotland executive vice-president Sarah Malone blasted the vandals after the latest attack was discovered at the Balmedie course on Monday.
Among the trail of damage was around 150 metres of torn-down fencing.
